Krav Maga is a modern and proven reality-based defensive tactics system for men and women. Based on simple principles and instinctive, natural movements of the human body, it is designed to teach practical self-defense for the real world in the shortest possible time. You will learn effective techniques against common attacks as well as the thinking behind protecting yourself. With its unique and logical approach, Krav Maga is easy to learn and retain; allowing it to be performed practically, intuitively and naturally under stressful conditions.

Krav Maga emerged in an environment where extreme violence was common. It has had ample opportunity to be tested and improved under real life conditions, proving itself to be an ideal and realistic means of defending oneself in the face of life threatening danger. No defense tactics program in the world is more battle tested than Krav Maga. Originally developed for the Israeli Defense Forces, Krav Maga is now used by various special police and military and intelligence forces, such as American CIA, FBI, US Marshals, USAF, DEA, Federal Air Marshals, various police departments, SWAT teams, etc.

Krav Maga students train not only to defend themselves with their body, but also in the use of common everyday objects such as laptops, chairs, backpacks, sticks and stones, coffee mugs, pens, etc. Krav Maga teaches multiple opponent defense as part of its training, places emphasis on scenario based training, and contains many exercises and drills to put students under physical and psychological stress in order to acclimatize the student to the stresses of reality based self-defense.

In Krav Maga you will learn:

  • Essential pressure points and how to approach and control an opponent, utilizing the application of force
  • Defend again takedowns, chokes, bear hugs, arm bars and various other possible attacks
  • Defend against various weapons including knives, baseball bats, guns, etc.
  • Learn ways to deal with potentially violent situations as well as verbal and physical methods to avoid violence whenever possible
